The short version
SalvageBound is a post-apocalyptic scavenging and shop sim. Scavenge the dead world, run the last shop on the road, and survive the night, alone or in online co-op.
About the game
The world ended a while ago. On the outskirts of the Crossroads, Maggie's roadside stall is still open, just. She hands you the keys, tells you the Baron collects tomorrow, and the rest is up to you.
By day you head out to scavenge towns, farms, depots and dead cities on foot or by car. Back at the shop you stock the shelves, set prices, haggle with customers and serve travellers at the fire. By night you hold the line: the dead only stay down when the head is destroyed, and the hordes come for the shop.
Grow the stall into a trading post with a bar, a kitchen, a bunkhouse and hired help. Cross nine regions, from the frozen north to the Greenwater, and follow the Road North to find out where Maggie went, why the convoys stopped, and who the Baron really is. Friends can join through Steam and run the place together.
Key features
- Scavenging, shopkeeping and survival in one loop: every trip out feeds the shop.
- A trading post that grows from a lean-to stall into a waystation.
- Head-shot-only dead, weighty melee, and guns that jam when they're worn.
- Nine regions with their own weather, hazards and places.
- Customers, travellers and regulars who remember you.
- Cars to keep running: fuel, parts, tyres and the long roads between towns.
- Online co-op through Steam, with one shared shop and world.
